Paul Rijken - Research imaging specialist

Paul Rijken is a research imaging specialist. His focus is on the development of quantitative imaging techniques and its implementation for studying tumour biology at the microscopic level. One of the core techniques is a sequential scanning technique of multiple (fluorescence) signals to obtain highly matching microscopic images from different histological structures in the same specimen. This allows quantitative analysis of (spatial) relationships between biological features in a tumor model.
